DJ JoJo has been voted "LA's Favorite Salsa DJ" by the Los Angeles Salsa community. He received an award at the Golden Salsa Bachata Awards in Los Angeles CA. 

DJ JoJo received an Honoree Award from the late Albert Torres at the LA Salsa Fest/Congress in recognition of his contribution to the salsa community. In 2012, he got invited by Mr. Torres to spin at the LA Congress. Ever since, he has been a part of this amazing event spining vinyl records from his collection for dancers from all over the world.
